New Campaign Waaay Better Than a Hot Juicy Burger?

The lovable red mop that has been sported by several in Wendy’s commercials will soon kick the bucket. According to Wendy’s CEO, commercials delivering the line “I deserve a hot, juicy burger” have been virtually ineffective on sales. Instead, Wendy’s will now focus on the quality of their food and the new commercials will come equipped with the line, “Waaay better than fast food. It’s Wendy’s!” The new commercials will also star an animated version of the iconic Wendy’s character. The company spent over $280 million in advertising for the new campaign, claiming that Wendy’s is “raising the bar” in 2008.
