TBWA claims $600 million Dollar Account

Visa announced today that Omnicom’s TBWA as been awarded global creative and strategic marketing duties on it’s $600 Million dollar account. TBWA edged out rival companies such as WPP, Leo Burnett, and most recent holder of the account BBDO Worldwide who had been in charge of the account for years.

This means that the bulk of Visa’s very large marketing account will be held by Omnicom. Among the tasks ahead for TBWA are creating a unified message for the Visa brand across all global markets, and bolstering that message in the face of stronger marketing in recent years from rivals MasterCard and American Express.
